In algebraic equations it is common to use the letter X to represent a missing number. The very nature of the equation is centered on finding what needs to be added, divided, or subtracted to find the value of X. If we take this same principle and apply it to generations we may find the missing piece. Today's youth are in trouble, there is an onset of disease, a major psychological imbalance, an economic drought, and a lack of self respect, self esteem, and self reliance. The lost are becoming the leaders, the lethargic are serving as motivators, and the morally corrupt are becoming the role models.
In cities all over the nation youth are dying. The equation is simple: Troubled youth + X= A better world. What is X? How can we incorporate what we know with what we don't know? Who will help us solve this problem? Who cares enough to try and keep trying understanding that every life is valuable? Who will save Generation X? The solution is simpler than the equation: Trouble youth + L.E.A.D. =A better world. L.E.A.D. is the organization of choice, the organization that is willing to be the change we hope to see. L.E.A.D. is a revolution, a force greater than nature, the beginning of the end of a lifetime depression, L.E.A.D. is the solution.
From its humble conception two years ago L.E.A.D. has grown into a highly regarded and multi city functioning organization that has several programs and opportunities dedicated to servicing the needs of this generation of youth. We see the disconnect, we see the frustration, and we see the need for help. L.E.A.D. has accepted the challenge to be an everlasting, fully existing organization that will not continue to allow youth to succumb to their environments.
From the urban ghettos to the ritzy suburbs, from the corners of Baltimore to the beaches of Los Angeles, for the impoverished and rich, the elite and the masses, the weary and the strong, L.E.A.D. is the solution. Our aim is to target the generation that needs help the most. Our culture is mixed with a heritage of faith. Our organization is founded on the basic element of love; love for self, love for others, and love for life. For years we have watched as people die never knowing the victory of surviving. In a time of meandering existence, L.E.A.D. is here to highlight the value of each life. With our heads held high and feet marching forward, this organization vows to never back down for fear of failure, to never quit from fatigue, and to never leave one person behind. We are fanatical, motivated, and ready to teach, challenge, and applaud the leaders of tomorrow; our mission is success, our vision is enlightenment, and our culture is social inclusiveness.
